As Owner’s Representative for the City of Phoenix, project management services consisted of planning, design and construction phase leadership to deliver aggressive construction schedules while maintaining revenue-generating operations of a busy events schedule. With the goal of providing a similar event experience planned for the newly constructed venues, phased improvements for this $20M refurbishment project were scheduled during three consecutive years to address:
- Extensive architectural renovation of over 165,000 square feet of public areas including lobbies, meeting rooms, ballroom, restrooms, exhibition halls and concessions
- Interior and exterior signage replacement
- ADA compliance throughout the interior and exterior of the facility
- Infrastructure upgrades for building automation system, security, audio and lighting
- Exterior lighting and landscape improvements
