As Owner’s Representative for the City of Phoenix, project management services consisted of Project Team leadership and consensus building of numerous stakeholders during planning, design and two phases of construction scheduled off-season to mitigate facility closure during performance seasons. With the goals of enhancing the patron and performer experience, upgrading infrastructure and addressing compliance issues, this $16.6M bond project accomplished:
- Architectural renovation of all public areas including three theatre venues, lobbies, restrooms, addition of new lounge for donor patrons and new public area furnishings
- ADA compliance throughout the interior and exterior of the facility
- Infrastructure upgrades for security, mechanical system, audio and architectural lighting
- Extensive exterior improvements including new outdoor bar and expanded event space, upgraded entrance for patrons of lunchtime theater venue, landscape and signage upgrades
- Upgraded back-of house areas including dressing rooms, actor’s lounges and support spaces
