Bank of America
Phoenix, Arizona
As Tenant’s Representative for Bank of America, full scope project management services consisted of project team leadership and developer coordination from lease commencement through planning, design, construction and occupancy. With the objective to relocate 600 Bank of America associates and the home office banking center to the newly constructed Collier Center in downtown Phoenix, this effort successfully achieved the following goals for this 176,000 square foot anchor tenant:
- Reduced square footage requirements by 30% while providing more efficient use of space and additional conference space per floor
- Improved communications, security, lighting, audio/visual and video conferencing technologies
- Maximized flexibility and great views for all associates while promoting an open, collaborative environment
- New amenities including copy centers, centralized compact filing systems and reverse osmosis water filtration systems on each typical floor
- Reduced future furniture reconfiguration costs by incorporating universal office and workstation standards; reduced inventory costs by developing non-handed office furniture and workstation standards with minimal kit of parts
Bank of America’s corporate offices and banking center have endured for over a decade now, both aesthetically and functionally, thanks to the project team effort led by Karen (McCarthy) O’Connor. Selecting Karen for the role of Project Manager was the best decision we could have made. Her professional experience, knowledge, dedication and leadership skills make her an invaluable asset to those requiring exceptional project management capabilities.
