Civic action meets good design.

Case Study: National Conference on Citizenship

Chartered by Congress in 1953 to harness the patriotic energy and national civic involvement surrounding World War II, National Conference on Citizenship has become the nation's largest and most definitive measure of civic engagement in the U.S.

Our challenge in creating the Civic Health Index Reports was to further maximize its mission as an effective tool for civic engagement and to present its wealth of data and information in a more compelling, engaging manner. The document needed to clearly communicate its message through the use of effective, well-designed charts and infographics as well as skillfully highlighted key points and analysis.

With this publication design project we stressed clean, classic typography, appropriate emphasis on copy points with the final goal of producing reports that communicated well, in an organized, easy-to-read format.
